BIG SHOWING & MAMMOTH

DEPOSIT

INTRODUCTION

The Big Showing and Mammoth mineral claims have been located by the principles of Lodestar Exploration Inc., to cover a known deposit of high grade silver, lead,  zinc and gold.

HISTORY

The property was discovered and worked as early as 1896. In the discovery years it is reported that very high grade silver ore has been discovered on what is now known as the Mammoth  ( Lot 6473 ) reverted crown grant.

The Big Showing was discovered in 1914 and subsequently worked until 1928. Several operators have conducted exploration on the property over the years, including Cominco and more recently (1987 ) New Campbell Mines.

PROPERTY

The property consists of the 20 unit Big Showing and the 12 unit Mammoth claims. Both claims cover an area of 800 hectares of highly favourable geology,  known silver reserves and numerous base metal mineral occurrences.

The property consists of the SIRDAR, CRESENT, MAMMOTH EMPIRE FR., VIVIANS LUCK No. 6 and the SILVER CROWN, all of these are reverted crown granted mineral claims. The property covers other prospects such as the Big Showing, Scout and the Ruby Silver deposit.

LOCATION & ACCESS

Big Showing is located on the northwest slope of Mount Goldsmith (Goat Mountain), east of Incomappleux River and 10 kilometres northeast of Camborne. The mineralized zones outcrop on the west side of the Goldsmith Creek canyon and can be traced for about 1400 metres, following the southeasterly trend of the metasediments.

The Big Showing and Mammoth mineral claims are located on mineral map 082K/13 E in the Revelstoke mining division. The property is centred on

LATITUDE: 50 52 42 N

LONGITUDE: 117 34 54 W

The property has road access to the north western portion of the claims. From there a steep trail leads to the principle workings on the property.

GEOLOGY & MINERALISATION

The mineralisation located on the property is classified as Replacement type or Irishtype carbonatehosted Silver, Zinc, lead.

The mineralisation also has associated values of Gold and Copper.

Massive base metal sulfide minerals have replaced contorted and silicified marble within a series of crystalline limestone and bands of soft green chlorite shists. The limestone and shists are complexly folded. Other styles of mineralisation that occur on the property include high grade veins and massive sulfide mineralisation associated with meta-volcanics.

The mineralisation consists of argentiferous Galena with Tetrahedrite, Sphalerite, Chalcopyrite and gold bearing Pyrite. Historical assays have been reported as over 200 ounces to the ton Silver in the Mammoth claim area.

The Big Showing deposit is ranked as the 12th most significant silver deposit in the province of British Columbia Canada, with no production.

To date the property is the host to an indicated reserve inventory of 217,620 Tonnes grading 754.0 Grams per tonne silver.

Also an inferred resource of 398,883 Tonnes grading 480.0 Grams per tonne Silver with associated values of zinc, lead gold and copper.

The indicated mineral reserves amount to 4.79 million ounces of contained silver with an inferred resource of a further 5.58 million ounces of silver.

The property is estimated to contain at least 10.37 million ounces of silver.
Further modern exploration and drilling could delineate a much larger resource of silver with associated values of zinc, lead, gold and copper.

CONCLUSIONS

Lodestar Exploration Inc. is currently raising funds to conduct modern exploration on this exciting and promising mineral property.

The focus of this exploration will be to bring the inferred resource estimates into the proven category. As well as evaluating the tenure of the zinc, lead, gold and copper mineralisation.
